We are back to the blogging world.. Its been a long break. I havent blogged for a long long time and after looking at my kids scrapbooks and realizing how behind I am I figure this is a good way to document things about our family, as we go. Hoping to make some more blogging frieds along the way.

Update! So a lot has happened in the past year or so this is a quick run down.. The short version. So we finally bought a house in our dream neighborhood.. and since the house was a lil old we completly gutted it and remodeled it to be our dream home. We are loving being here and making it our home. Since Phil was out of town working all summer we are still settling in and getting comfortable. Speaking of Phil... He spend the summer working in Chicago (our new favorit place) He, like always.. Is amazing worked his ass off and had a very sucessful summer, I cant say enough how thankful I am for him and his hard work. I am lucky to be married to such an amazing man. Our girls are growing up.. Too much. And I dont like it! Kamri started 5th grade. Ummm can someone tell me where the hell the time went? I swear a couple days ago Phil was taking her to school with him at west, she went to day care while he went to class. Ha wow! We are so proud of her she is our busy ballarina she dances more hours per week then I work (or worked.. Ill explain in a min) she also was accepted to take the Chicago Ballet summer intensive course while we were in Chicago over the summer and what a great experience that was for her... Another amazing opportunity because of Phils hard work. And Kianna.. Well she will always be my lil NaNa bear. But she too is growing. She is in full day Kindergarten. So pretty much in school all day with the big kids. and boy does she LOVE it! ha. She also loves her new house, new room, and all the cute kids in the new hood. That girl makes us laugh every single day.. Needless to say she IS her dads girl! Watch out world we are all in trouble with her. And I also made some changes. I recently quit my job at Jetblue, after 8 years of free flights! I know I'm crazy! ha But I do have plans and very exciting things in my future.. Stay tuned for that! So Kamri is our lil dancer! She dances all day long everyday.. Our cute friend Ashley Kelson is a dancer for the Utah Jazz we have known her for a couple years now and this year she taught Kamri her solo piece for competetions. She did her first on this past weekend, She got 3rd place she will be doing about 4 more competetions this year.. She is so brave even to get up there in front of the judges, but honestly she loves it and has so much fun. here is a video of her dance and a few pics of both girls before we went to competetion (yes I made her costume)..lol

Ok so I know (shannon) its been a long time.. I serously suck at this. So heres the update. We have had an awesome winter enjoying our two beautiful girls and time together (kind of) phil is always working. My lil brother got married and is expecting their first baby in october. Phil is going to Jacksonville florida for the summer so we are just getting ready for that... Here are some pics to update you on what we've been up to the last couple months.

So the last year has been one of the most interesting, adventurous, scary, frusterating, exciting, exhausting, years yet... And the past 4 months I think I have learned more about life, love and myself then I have in the past 26 years (yea I said it 26... I know) So in May my husband started working for a company which he has basically gone for 4 months out of the year. So in my own words I am a single mom of two girls all summer long. At first when we wher concidering this new job I was against it. As I started to hear more about the company and the life that it would bring our family I let my gaurd down a little. Phil is one of those people that if he really wants something he will not stop until he gets it... And I know more then anything in the world he wants to take care of our family. So as we learned more and Phil started talking to people in the company he just felt right about it.. We talked about it one night for a long time and he had a look in his eye, A look of sucess and what I call "go getter" he decided that it was time to take a risk and take the job. So as the supportive wife I am I had to trust him that he would not do this unless he was sure it would benefit our family. April 28th he left for Austin, TX... I remember thinking that day that this was just the begining of a new life and thanking God he was not going to war somewhere (those poor wives, Dont know how they do it) Needless to say we all had some very long hard days, lots of tears, emails, text messages, videos anything we could do to keep our family connected. The girls and I went out a few times to stay and see him but It was very choatic traveling acrosss the country with a 2 year old and an 8 year old, I want able to go out to see him as much as I would've liked... I spent lots of days at the pool and home doing fun stuff with the kids to pass the time, Now it seems like it went by really fast. So here we are in September and my Man is back and we are more in love and appreciate each other then ever before... Its amazing what distance can do. I truly believe that its all about taking the right risks... This was a risk that I really didnt want to take but I did in support of my husband, Now our life is better, our family is happier... I love you babe!

Kiannas 3rd birthday

So for nana's 3rd birthday she told us all she wanted was a "lower" (lawn mower) and anything tinkerbell. So this is what we came up with, She loved it so much! We just had a little party for her and she was so happy. I made a little cake for her, of course it was green her favorit color, Its funny how the smallest things make kids happy. That really makes me look at my world and the things that truly make me happy... I love my life and my family. I am sad however, my baby is 3!

Ok so this is my first time blogging.. And I like it! Heres a lil about my life, I am the mommy of two adorable girls, Kamri who just turned 8 she is such a sweet, smart, happy, and full of life she loves to dance she has been dancing since she was 3 and just literally wont stop. She helps me so much I am so lucky to be her mom. Kianna who is 2 (almost 3) she is also very full of life, this kid has more energy then me, phil and Kam put together she loves to play with anything and everything she has a very wild imagination and keeps us on our toes. I am married to the hardest working, sweet, thoughtful and loving guy in the world, Not to mention an incredable daddy. Phil and I have been together for 13 years, I know crazy huh.. Jr high sweethearts! We have diffenetly had our ups and downs but I would not change a thing if I had to do it over again, Ok well maybe a few little things but honestly he continues to amaze me everyday. I am so lucky to have a wonderful family. Because of Phil I am able to stay at home and raise my girls, I do work a few nights a week from home after the girls are in bed. Phil is out of town most of the summer for work so I try and keep myself and the kids busy by staying on a schdule and getting out as much as possible and doing fun things. I love mylife and everyone in it, Always looking for new friends and good people in my life.. Thanks for reading.
